This is a culture for a strep throat.

I think you take the prize on that photo challenge. In fact, I’m sure Patty feels the same way. She really took the prize.

  2. winsomebella says:

Hope this is an ancient culture and not one you are battling now :-).

  3. Oh the good ol petri dish. Petri was a friend of mine. He died while napping on his little dish. I think he was done in by the assistant technician a dogooder named Porter Penn Cillan.

  4. Heeheeheehee! Good one, Al!

  5. Barb says:

Are you sure those are ants in there?

  6. Barbara says:

Actually, I don’t know why I liked that!! Strep throat is horrible! I regularly get it 😦 I haven’t lost my voice yet though, much to the disappointment of my husband & children!

    • Al says:

I have had a raging case myself. Even swallowing water was painful. Sorry to resurrect this horrible memory for you.

      • Barbara says:

Oh yes I remember, I had to take soluble painkillers in order to be able to take my antibiotics… Taking the painkillers used to take about an hour. Awful.

    • Al says:

The Health Insurance Portability and Accounting Act prevents me from sharing that knowledge with you. Sorry.

      • pegoleg says:

Oh, it’s OK if I have you sign a release form authorizing me to discuss this issue with your insurance company, as long as you provide a time limit on the release and a description of specifically what PHI (protected health information) may be shared. I’m not even kidding.

Your turn to write, but please don't be wittier than me. My ego is quite fragile.
