Short but sweet

Hey everyone. Just posting this to let you know you are not forgotten. Just returned from a week in Seattle and the San Juan Islands and believe it or not never went near a computer until it was time for boarding passes. Had a great time with lots of pictures, some of which may eventually find their way into this blog. Oops, there’s one now.

Looking forward to catching up on reading your blogs. Can’t believe how much I missed them. I’ll post a new blog whenever my mind catches up to this time zone, hopefully soon. Good to be back in “ole Virginny”.

Now I’m wondering if this blog will make “freshly pressed.” After all, they say “brevity is the soul of wit”,  don’t they?

Your pal, Big Al

  1. I’m not really going green with envy ( she says as she types whilst sitting at her work desk dreaming of finding an end to the never ending piles of paperwork that keep threatening to drown her ).
    That view looks stunning

    • No way! Didn’t realize you were right there. You’re so right about the good weather. A few years ago we went to Portland, OR for 9 days and it was sunny every day but one. I think you north-westerners fib about the weather to keep us from coming there to live. I can understand why.

  2. I’ve missed your blogs too…glad you’re back and now I will be researching San Juan Islands. The picture was lovely. This is the first time I’ve commented through the email updates. Let’s see if it works. ypc

    • Yep, read you loud and clear. You’re a regular computer guru now.

We went to San Juan Island and also Orcas Island. Saw some Orca whales feeding on San Juan. I’m now an expert on the Washington State Ferry system.

Felt bad leaving my readers out in the cold (or in most cases, the heat.) Average daytime temp while there was about 74.

Your turn to write, but please don't be wittier than me. My ego is quite fragile.
