Hey everyone. Just posting this to let you know you are not forgotten. Just returned from a week in Seattle and the San Juan Islands and believe it or not never went near a computer until it was time for boarding passes. Had a great time with lots of pictures, some of which may eventually find their way into this blog. Oops, there’s one now.
Looking forward to catching up on reading your blogs. Can’t believe how much I missed them. I’ll post a new blog whenever my mind catches up to this time zone, hopefully soon. Good to be back in “ole Virginny”.
Now I’m wondering if this blog will make “freshly pressed.” After all, they say “brevity is the soul of wit”, don’t they?
Your pal, Big Al
A shot of the Haro Strait from our B & B.
I think you need to try Lorna’s FP dance in the woods around the fire at the full moon. It’s gotta work, especially if you post photos!
The American Indians tried that and look where it got them.
Yea… But did they keep the photos?? Did they Blog about it? I think not. If they had, they might have got freshly pressed too!!
I really liked the article, and the very cool blog
I’m not really going green with envy ( she says as she types whilst sitting at her work desk dreaming of finding an end to the never ending piles of paperwork that keep threatening to drown her ).
That view looks stunning
I hope you get pressed! I thought my Michael Vick would, but no such luck. 😦 Better luck to you!! Can’t wait to read more of your posts.
Thanks, Jodi. Keep at it, one of these days we will stumble onto some editor’s hot button and voila – 15 minutes of fame!
San Juans! You were in my neck o’ the woods. It was divine weather. I’m sure it misses you already.
No way! Didn’t realize you were right there. You’re so right about the good weather. A few years ago we went to Portland, OR for 9 days and it was sunny every day but one. I think you north-westerners fib about the weather to keep us from coming there to live. I can understand why.
Lot’s of witty soul in this blog.
Glad you had a good time!
Thanks pegoleg. I won’t torture you by telling you how much I ate on this trip. Suffice it to say it would be a contest breaker.
I’ve missed your blogs too…glad you’re back and now I will be researching San Juan Islands. The picture was lovely. This is the first time I’ve commented through the email updates. Let’s see if it works. ypc
Yep, read you loud and clear. You’re a regular computer guru now.
We went to San Juan Island and also Orcas Island. Saw some Orca whales feeding on San Juan. I’m now an expert on the Washington State Ferry system.
Felt bad leaving my readers out in the cold (or in most cases, the heat.) Average daytime temp while there was about 74.
Welcome Back. Glad you had a good break
Thanks. It was a beautiful trip.
Welcome home!
Thanks, Tilly Bud. Missed your humor!
