Perhaps I shouldn’t say it but seeing the boat was on a river made me think you could still walk along that decking without spilling your drink; which is always cheering. The photo is lovely, of course, but I would expect nothing less from you
I have a special drinking cup for cruises. It has a gyro implanted in it to account for the pitch and roll.
All you need is an eye-patch and a parrot named Polly! Oh, and some non-slip soles for your pirate shoes. Do they sell pirate shoes? 😉
We already had our pirate shoes on when fired our broadside, came close amidships, and swung aboard to take over the ship.
And all looked so calm in that photo…
We were using lasers.

Is this the Potomac?
It does look like it could be the Potomac but it’s the Seine in France.
that is a very cool picture…was it taken on a recent river cruise? I think I remember you had gone to France on the Seine last year. Woody and I LOVE boat trips….just went on a whale watch (with a railing too…but not nearly as nice as this one)…and big waves…off Barnstable, on the Cape.

This was the Seine River from Paris to Normandy.
