Oh the good ol petri dish. Petri was a friend of mine. He died while napping on his little dish. I think he was done in by the assistant technician a dogooder named Porter Penn Cillan.

Actually, I don’t know why I liked that!! Strep throat is horrible! I regularly get it 😦 I haven’t lost my voice yet though, much to the disappointment of my husband & children!
I have had a raging case myself. Even swallowing water was painful. Sorry to resurrect this horrible memory for you.
Oh yes I remember, I had to take soluble painkillers in order to be able to take my antibiotics… Taking the painkillers used to take about an hour. Awful.
