You and Patty have been on my mind these last few days, Al. I was trying to save power for you and that is why I did not comment. Stay safe warm and dry!
Hooray, we just got power back 1/2 hour ago after 70 hours. Food in fridge is a total loss but thankfully the beer can be re-cooled! Thanks for checking up on us.
Glad you are safe, Al. My visits to blogland are few these days, but hopefully we are on the right track to a solution at last.
Stay safe my Bro and soul sister Patti. ❤ Xx
Hi Jane. We are without power but snug as a bug in a rug. Thanks.
Hugs and ❤ xXx
Gripping, hard – hitting blogging here, Al. Hope you came through it OK.
You know me, the big guy pulls no punches. Still no power but OK otherwise.
Hurricane Humor –
Q: What do you get if you a cross a card game with a hurricane?
A: Bridge over troubled water.
Q: What did the hurricane say to the coconut palm tree?
A: Hold on to your nuts… Oops – the rest of this joke would probably get you censored.
You will tell me the rest of that joke right?
A: Hold on to your nuts, this is no ordinary blow job…
Q: What would you call a power failure?
A: A current event.
Love it Margie, and see, WordPress didn’t censor you, however, Donald Trump asked you to call him…..
Call him what…
Just some dirty words I guess…
You crack me up Al. 😉 Hope all is ok.
We actually lost power just a few hours after I posted that. Serves me right! Still don’t have it back.
Oh no! Hope it’s back now. Does serve you right though smarty pants…;)
I had to reset the modem earlier. Stay dry!
We still don’t have any power Patti, how about you?
I’m sorry to hear that! Can we be of help in any way? I don’t have an extension cord that long. 😉 Ours flickered off briefly, but came right back.
Stay safe. Hope it’s not a bad hit for your area!
Doing fine but still in the dark, as usual.
I hate hurricanes because Jack and I were supposed to arrive this morning and be all settled in the house we rent for 2 weeks in Sea Pines Plantation on Hilton Head. Obviously that is not the case! Hope you and Patty and the pups are safe and sound.
We’re doing fine, Jeri. But if we do lose power on football weekend, I will be a unhappy camper.
Still no power, Jeri, but we’re fine.
We are OK, Tilly. Only getting the periphery of the storm. Just wanted to inject a little humor into all the panic.
This is why you’re my kind of guy 🙂
