When you’re a 3rd rate blogger like myself (example 1, example 2) with few followers, you hope to get any comments at all after a post. When I see the comments section of the several bloggers I follow, I wonder why I try at all. Getting 60-80 comments per blog is not unusual at all for most of them. Maybe it has something to do with their having hundreds of followers, I don’t know. But I think I might have one thing going that they don’t. I have one blog post that keeps on giving. Over a year and a half ago I posted a blog about a wealthy philanthropist (I’m gonna be rich…I’m gonna be rich). To this day I continue to get comments about it. Of course, it helps that it’s about an altruistic soul who is as relevant now as she was then.
If you are interested in helping the less fortunate and at the same time improving your own financial standing, I encourage you to read this previous blog. In it you will hear about Barrister Paul Wesley, who selflessly helps to facilitate the aid to underprivileged children. I googled him recently to find a picture, however, due to his obsession for remaining anonymous to avoid any undue credit, I could only find this sketch that someone did. I know he looks like he’s from an era long past, but I assure you he’s alive, since there is a record of him voting in the 2008 U.S. election.
Enjoy.
